New Delhi: Due to the annual flushing program at underground reservoirs and booster pumping stations in Delhi, water supply will be affected in several parts of the city on Wednesday (January 21) and Thursday (January 22). This information was released by the Delhi Jal Board (Delhi Water Board) in a press note on Tuesday.
The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) advised residents to store sufficient water in advance to avoid inconvenience. They have also released helpline numbers for requesting water tankers. The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) stated that on January 21, water supply will be mainly disrupted in areas around Prem Kunj. On January 22, water supply will be affected in 28 areas of the city. The Jal Board also expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to the residents of the affected areas.

Areas to be affected on January 22 (Thursday): Nangloi, GH-12, Paschim Vihar Mundka and surrounding colonies, Hiran Kudna, Kamruddin Nagar, Nihal Vihar, Ranhaula Village, Bakkarwala, Nangloi JJC and Camps, R Block Jwalapuri, Rajdhani Park, Friends Enclave, Kavita Colony, Mohan Garden Group of Colonies, Machhli Market Booster Command Area Colonies, Vikas Nagar Group of Colonies, Uttam Nagar Group of Colonies, Matiala area, Hastsal, Dichau Kalan, Jharoda Village, Mitraon Village, Gopal Nagar, Sainik Enclave and all adjoining colonies, Chawla Village, Badusarai, Villages and colonies under the command of Ujwa and Daulatpur UGRs.
